By downloading or using QuarterZen, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Description of Service
QuarterZen is a quarterly estimated tax tracking tool for freelancers and self-employed individuals.
Not Tax Advice
QuarterZen provides estimates only, based on the information you provide. It is not tax, legal, or financial advice, and QuarterZen does not file anything on your behalf. Consult a qualified tax professional for advice specific to your situation.
No Account Required
QuarterZen does not require creating an account. Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID or Google account, and purchase validation is handled by our subscription infrastructure provider (RevenueCat) using an anonymous identifier — no QuarterZen account or login is ever created.
Subscription & Billing
QuarterZen Pro is offered at $4.99/month or $29.99/year, billed and managed entirely through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, whichever platform you downloaded from. Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple ID or Google Play account settings — QuarterZen does not process or store payment information directly. Refunds are handled according to Apple's or Google's respective refund policies, not by QuarterZen directly.
Free Tier
Calculating your current quarter's estimate is free and does not require a subscription.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the app, attempt to reverse-engineer any part of it, or take any action that could disrupt or interfere with the service or its users.
Disclaimer of Warranties
QuarterZen is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We make no warranty of accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose. All estimates are informational only — your actual tax liability may differ.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mustard Seed Design Co. is not liable for any financial decisions made based on estimates provided by QuarterZen, including any underpayment penalties, interest, or other tax consequences.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to QuarterZen if you violate these terms.
Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We will update the date above when changes are made.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
